Donate unwanted goods to the Children’s Hospice when you move.
A new partnership between Yeates and Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is set to make moving house a feel good experience. Yeates is now offering customers the satisfaction of decluttering and donating unwanted goods to CHSW on the day of their move.
For no extra cost Yeates will collect all customers unwanted goods and furniture on their moving day and take them to their depot to be picked up by CHSW. All customers have to do is simply request donation sacks from Yeates prior to their move.
James Griffin, Yeates Managing Director, talks about the partnership: “CHSW is an amazing local charity which we have supported for some time. This new partnership has allowed us to strengthen our support for the charity whilst offering customers a new addition to our service. Moving house can be a stressful experience so it’s great to be able to provide our customers with the satisfaction of not only having a clear out but also doing a good deed.”
As part of the partnership Yeates is also providing the public with a drop off point for donations of unwanted goods at their depot in Clevedon. The charity would be delighted to receive good quality items including furniture, clothing, toys and baby equipment. Donations for CHSW can be left in a designated storage container in the depot car park.
All donated goods will be sold by CHSW in their charity shops to raise much needed funds. The charity, which already has a chain of 13 shops across the South West, has just opened its first charity shop in Bristol. The new shop is located on the popular Park Street. The charity is set to open a number of further shops in Bristol in the coming months.
Jane Smith, CHSW Retail Stock Generator, said: “Profits from our shops are hugely important in enabling CHSW to keep supporting local life-limited children and their families. The opening of our first shop in Bristol, with more on the way, means we are looking for more stock than ever. So if you are planning a house move give Yeates a call and help CHSW make the most of short and precious lives.”
